Now Venegas returns to Cadenza with perhaps his most daring EP yet. The title of the EP and its lead track, ‘Ritmical Baco’, comes from the name of a band from Santiago, which Venegas was once a part of. As he explains, “I played guitar and keyboards for the band, and our sound was influenced by jazz and funk artists like Miles Davis, Joe Sawinul, Chick Corea, Return to Forever, and Los Jaivas, who were one of our most important influences. Our Hungarian favourites SLAP IN THE BASS return from Egypt with two skillfully crafted future dance classics: ‘Nada’ employs strings, beats and bass to tear musical dimensions apart in the most beautiful way you can imagine. ‘Goma’ is a rather fierce beast. I heard it eats those who don’t dance for breakfast. (NoBrainer SC, 2011)

Like many of Zombies For Money releases, they are heavily influenced by tropical music, kuduro, cumbia, tech house and worldwide bass music. And as always these guys mix all these influences together perfectly to make some of the best club music in the world. Oy Shaba grabs hold of a crazy middle-eastern horn and turns it into a horrifyingly infectious riff. Mina! is maybe the craziest tune on the EP, utilizing the most different samples; Mina! flips a simple guitar diddy, adds another off the wall horn and throws in a few Hey!’s on top of a jackin tropical beat to make a totally mad track! Kayapo VIP of course is the VIP version of Kayapo (unreleased) that has been in the works for quite some time now. The VIP combines a jump-up dutch house synth with exotic drum hits, typical of the Zombies’ curumba style. This is an essential new release for any fan of heavy bass house music! (T&B Recs SC, 2011)
