From Claude VonStroke: “I had dinner with Breach in London and he told me “Hey, I have a track that is really dirtybird. I would put it out but its really sounding right for you guys.” I took this with a grain of salt but then I heard “Let’s Get Hot” and I found out he was right. It’s got the swagger and the sound. It makes girls grind their asses into boys crotches on the dancefloor. Perfect. Signed.
So I then asked him to make something even more sexual, thinking it would be ages before I got something back. 10 days later the A-side came back to me as a 2 minute clip while i was on the train to warehouse project in Manchester. I liked it so much that i edited it on the train to stretch it out to 5 minute. As expected, it slayed the room and the final version Breach has delivered is one of the best records of the year in my opinion. With the simple title of “Jack” you can see for yourself when you play it. This is the real deal.
Following the coup of the EP “Trauriger Sonntag” (Sad Sunday – SDR029), “Zucker and Salt” (SDR030) will now be the new stroke. Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner created this one in collaboration with our friends from Paris: Sucré Salé. Both duos have been friends with each other over quite a while yet, but are coming together for the first time to create an amazing piece of music. The base for the song was provided by Sucré Salé with their sound of “Bye Bye”. This exotic quartet turned it into a grandiose remix accompanied by gentle, bitter and joyful sounds that are delivering the sad feelings of a farewell, but on the contrary already transferring feelings of anticipation as for the next reunion. Having huge success with their last release, Grieche & Felix Bernhardt are now presenting their new limited vinyl on Ton liebt Bass, a sublabel of Ton liebt Klang and Vogelfrei Records. They once again hit the right spot with this killer release. Their unique and exceptional style fits perfectly into the modern dance music environment, but still found a way to get thins on a higher level. Grieche, influenced by his greek roots, decided to involve his origins in this release by chirping birds reminding of autumn nights. As Grieche established a deeper atmosphere, Felix Bernhardt detonates the bomb with his explosive minimal beats. This release has it all, deep sounds and grooving beats, perfect for the indoor peak time, as well as for the magic time of an outdoor festival. Become a part of this feeling, get a copy!
