This Slyde re-rub went down massively at Stanton Sessions, Cable last weekend featuring samples from Kanye West’s ‘Power’ and The Incredible Bongo Band classic ‘Apache’. Slyde most def played the best set in my opinion, big up and cheers for the freebie!

Bringing it down with the crispest of beats and some wonderful liquid bass, the boys take us for an exotic ride complete with quirky stabs and sublime effects. Ramon Tapia adds even more percussion for a completely different flavor, while keeping the bouncy sensibilities of the original intact. Some classy atmospherics make this an even trippier affair for the rollers out there. (Umek SC, 2012)

Roy Apron‘s ‘The Effect’ E.P. Two mid 90′s Drum and Bass influenced rollers at 130bpm that probably sound nothing like the Drum and Bass that inspired them! You also get an ambient mix of one of the tracks that perhaps you can use in a homemade sci-fi movie. (Boy 8-bit SC, 2012)
