What you might recognize in Pororoca is the flute hook as well as the vocals that were used in La Mezcla (Michel Cleis) a techhouse rinser from 2009. This release has a more tropical house feel to it. El Toro’s catchy horns are its highlights. This release is brought out on Man Recordings – for those of you who don’t know, Man Recordings is more or less responsible for bringing and making baile funk (carioca) popular in the electronic scene in europe.
